RGHA U-18s Set for International Competition in Sydney

The Roundglass Hockey Academy (RGHA) is gearing up for its international engagement as its U-18 team prepares to travel to Sydney, Australia, to compete in the International Youth Hockey Cup (Boys Category) from June 23 to June 27.


This tournament will showcase emerging hockey talent from various regions, offering RGHA players a significant chance to challenge themselves against international teams and experience diverse playing styles. This event is part of the academy's dedication to equipping young athletes for the rigors of elite hockey through consistent international exposure.


Tournament Schedule

As per the tournament itinerary, RGHA will kick off its campaign against the NSW Lions on June 23, 2026. The team will then face Team Majulah Singapore and NSW Singhs on June 24, followed by a match against Bobby Academy on June 25. RGHA will wrap up its league matches against Shepparton on June 26. The Boys Grand Final is set for June 27, where the top two teams from the league will compete for the championship.


Building on Recent Success

This tour follows a successful international performance by the academy in Kenya, where RGHA's senior team clinched the title at the Sikh Union Club Nairobi Centenary Celebrations Hockey Tournament 2026. In the final match, the academy showcased a dominant performance, defeating the hosts, Nairobi Sikh Union, with a score of 4-1, highlighting the effectiveness of the academy's high-performance training program.
