Reliance Foundation Empowers Athletes at the 20th Asian Games
Celebrating Opportunities at the Asian Games
As Team India participates in the 20th Asian Games held in Aichi-Nagoya, the Reliance Foundation's campaign emphasizes the significance of opportunity. It advocates for the belief that every child should have the chance to start their journey, which is essential before they can aspire to achieve their dreams. The initiative illustrates how a single opportunity can alter the trajectory of a young person's life, and how athletes who seize these chances can inspire countless others and bring pride to the nation.
Nita Ambani's Encouraging Words for Team India
Nita M Ambani conveyed her heartfelt message to Team India, stating, "Dear athletes, as you step onto one of Asia's grandest sporting platforms, remember that you carry the hopes and best wishes of the entire nation."
"Compete with bravery and joy, as your efforts extend beyond merely winning medals. One opportunity can change a life, one performance can ignite a dream, and one athlete can motivate an entire generation. This is your moment—make it memorable. The whole nation is rooting for you," she added.
Reliance Foundation's Extensive Support for Athletes
A total of 48 athletes, backed by the Reliance Foundation, are competing in nine different sports at the games. This includes prominent Indian sports figures such as Lovlina Borgohain, Tejaswin Shankar, Sreeshankar Murali, Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, and Chirag Shetty.
Additionally, the Reliance Foundation serves as a sponsor for Team India, offering support to athletes both on and off the field. The Sports Medicine team from the Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre, which includes physiotherapists, is part of the Indian delegation, providing essential medical and physiotherapy assistance.
Through its various initiatives, the Reliance Foundation has positively impacted over 29 million children across 28 states, aiding them in taking their first steps toward realizing their potential.
