Arrest in Railway Recruitment Exam Fraud
On Tuesday, a relative of a candidate was apprehended in Ranchi for allegedly taking an examination on behalf of the actual applicant for railway recruitment. Officials confirmed the arrest.
According to authorities, 30-year-old Lalu Kumar, also known as Anish Kumar, hails from Gaya district in Bihar and was attempting to take the Railway Group D exam at a private center in place of his relative.
He was caught during the fingerprint verification process. Manoj Kumar, the officer in charge of the Namkum police station, stated, 'Upon receiving information, the police went to the center and arrested him for using a false identity.'
