According to research from the Kerala Ayurvedic University, refined oil is responsible for approximately 2 million deaths annually in India.


Health Risks Associated with Refined Oil

The consumption of refined oil can lead to severe health issues, including DNA damage, destruction of RNA, heart attacks, blockages, brain damage, strokes, diabetes, hypertension, impotence, cancer, weakened bones, joint pain, back pain, kidney damage, liver dysfunction, high cholesterol, reduced vision, reproductive issues, and skin diseases.


How Refined Oil is Produced

The extraction of oil from seeds involves removing the outer shell. During this process, impurities are filtered out, and the oil is refined to eliminate its taste, smell, and color.


Washing Process – To wash refined oil, substances like water, salt, caustic soda, sulfur, potassium, acids, and other hazardous chemicals are used to remove impurities. This process generates a thick waste similar to tar, which is repurposed for tire manufacturing. The oil becomes toxic due to the acids used in this refining process.
