Since the ticket ballot opened 12 days ago, there has been an unprecedented surge in applications for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027. A staggering 15,083,752 applications have been submitted, with 4,423,417 registrations from fans across 142 nations, showcasing the global enthusiasm for this prestigious event.
Rapid Increase in Interest
The latest figures indicate a remarkable increase in ticket requests, jumping from one million last week to over 15 million in just under two weeks. Cricket's Global Appeal
"The significant demand for tickets reflects the Cricket World Cup's prestige and the allure of Africa as a host destination. The excitement generated by the ICC and its partners' promotional efforts has also contributed to this anticipation," stated ICC Chief Executive Officer Sanjog Gupta.
"With a year remaining, the ICC has planned a series of engaging activities, multi-platform campaigns, and content that will enhance the fan experience leading up to the ICC Cricket World Cup 2027."
