Rajnath Singh's Strong Message to Pakistan

During a recent event marking the first anniversary of the Pahalgam terrorist attack, India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh issued a stern warning to Pakistan, stating that any further attempts to create trouble would have serious consequences. Currently on a three-day visit to Berlin, Germany, Singh reflected on Operation Sindoor and reiterated India's long-standing position regarding its neighbors, emphasizing that all are peaceful except for one.

While highlighting advancements in the defense sector, Singh noted a significant shift from being an importer to becoming an exporter, with defense exports reaching nearly ₹39,000 crores. He expressed pride in this transformation, stating, 'Previously, we relied heavily on imports to meet our defense needs. Now, we have become exporters.'

Singh further elaborated on the military's capabilities, asserting that India has never initiated an attack on any nation. However, he cautioned that if any neighbor attempts interference, the situation could escalate. He remarked, 'All neighbors are fine, except for one that continues to create issues.'

These comments come in the wake of warnings from Pakistani Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, who suggested that any false operations by India would be met with a strong response. Asif's remarks were made near Sialkot, approximately 130 kilometers from Lahore, where he stated that they would retaliate decisively if provoked.

Singh's statements are particularly relevant given the backdrop of the Pahalgam attack, which resulted in the deaths of 26 civilians in Anantnag district, Jammu and Kashmir. Following this incident, India conducted counterattacks under Operation Sindoor, targeting terrorist launch pads and key airports in Pakistan.
