Rajnath Singh Celebrates India's Cultural Heritage at Maharana Bhupal Singh University

At the 104th anniversary of Maharana Bhupal Singh University, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh celebrated India's rich cultural heritage and the contributions of ancient scholars. He highlighted the importance of education in the legacy of Maharana Bhupal Singh, who established numerous educational institutions. Singh's remarks reflect a deep respect for India's traditions and the role they play in shaping modern society. Honoring India's Rich Civilizational Legacy

During a ceremony marking the 104th anniversary of Maharana Bhupal Singh University in Udaipur, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh emphasized the importance of recognizing India's ancient past and cultural traditions as sources of strength and pride for modern India. He highlighted the country's enduring contributions to various fields such as science, medicine, mathematics, grammar, philosophy, and ethics.


Singh expressed that contemporary India takes pride in its heritage, valuing its traditions and rich cultural legacy. He noted that the land of India has been home to great scholars like Charaka, Sushruta, Aryabhata, Brahmagupta, Madhava, Panini, Patanjali, Nagarjuna, Pingala, Maitreyi, Gargi, and Tiruvalluvar.


Paying tribute to Maharana Bhupal Singh, Singh described him not just as a ruler but also as a visionary educator and dedicated patriot. He acknowledged that Maharana Bhupal Singh was instrumental in establishing several educational institutions, including a Hindu university in Chittorgarh and an agricultural college in Udaipur, along with various schools focused on girls' education.


A Legacy of Education and Vision

Rajnath Singh remarked, "Friends, this institution is named after Maharana Bhupal Singh of Mewar. He was not only a ruler but also an educator. He founded a Hindu university in Chittorgarh, an agricultural college in Udaipur, and numerous other schools." His words underscored the significant role that education played in the vision of Maharana Bhupal Singh.
