Rajnath Singh's Visit to Bhuj Air Force Station
Following a meeting with security personnel in Srinagar, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh arrived in Bhuj, Gujarat, on Friday. He toured the Bhuj Rudra Mata Air Force Station and met with army personnel before visiting Smritivan, a memorial dedicated to the victims of the 2001 earthquake. While addressing the gathering at the Bhuj airbase, Singh expressed pride in being present at a location that witnessed India's victory against Pakistan in 1965, reiterating that it stands as a testament to another victory against Pakistan today.
Operation Sindoor: A Source of National Pride
Singh commended the efforts during Operation Sindoor, stating that the actions taken had instilled pride among all Indians, both domestically and abroad. He highlighted that the Indian Air Force required only 23 minutes to neutralize terrorism nurtured in Pakistan. He shared that just the day before, he had met with brave soldiers in northern India, and today he was with the air warriors in the west. Observing their high energy and enthusiasm reassured him that India's borders are secure in their capable hands.

The Defense Minister emphasized that the achievements during Operation Sindoor filled the nation with pride. He noted that the Indian Air Force's swift actions were comparable to the time it takes for people to have breakfast. The missiles launched within enemy territory resonated globally, symbolizing not just the missiles themselves but also the valor and strength of India. Singh remarked on the widespread recognition of the Air Force's effective role in this operation, which not only dominated but also decimated the enemy.

Rajnath Singh asserted that the Indian Air Force's reach extends to every corner of Pakistan, a fact that has been thoroughly demonstrated. He stated that Indian fighter jets can strike targets within Pakistan without crossing borders. The world witnessed how the Air Force dismantled nine terrorist bases on Pakistani soil and destroyed several airbases in subsequent actions.
