Weather scientists predict that while rainfall activities may remain limited for now, the monsoon is expected to regain strength in two days, leading to significant rainfall in several districts.

In the last 24 hours, Barmer in western Rajasthan recorded the highest rainfall, with approximately 3 inches of rain. The sudden downpour caused flooding in several low-lying areas, disrupting transportation for residents. Although the rain provided relief from the heat and humidity, water accumulation on roads also affected traffic.

According to the meteorological department, the current monsoon activities have weakened, but moisture from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea is expected to strengthen the monsoon system soon. As a result, rainfall activities may increase in eastern and southern Rajasthan, along with some western districts in the coming days.

Today, alerts for heavy rainfall have been issued for three districts, prompting local authorities to remain vigilant and advising residents to take necessary precautions.
