Corruption Investigation Leads to Arrest

On Wednesday, a team from the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) apprehended an Assistant Sub-Inspector of the Rajasthan Police in Ajmer district for allegedly accepting a bribe of ₹28,000. Officials confirmed the arrest.


The accused, Hariram Yadav, was stationed at the Civil Lines police station in Ajmer. According to the bureau's statement, a complaint was lodged indicating that he was demanding a bribe in exchange for submitting a charge sheet in a case filed by the complainant.


During the verification of the complaint, the suspect agreed to accept a bribe of ₹70,000. The ACB set a trap and caught him red-handed while he was receiving ₹28,000 today. Further actions regarding the case are currently underway.
