Rajasthan Government's Commitment to Youth Empowerment and Employment

Rajasthan's Focus on Youth Development

On July 28, in Jaipur, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma emphasized the state government's ongoing efforts to meet the aspirations of the youth across various sectors, including education, sports, employment, and self-employment. He highlighted the crucial role of young people in building a developed India and a prosperous Rajasthan during the 'Flight of Dreams' event held at the Chief Minister's residence.

Sharma stated, “Youth are filled with new ideas and energy. Our government is in constant dialogue with them and is committed to incorporating their valuable suggestions into various policies, including the budget.” He noted that over the past two and a half years, more than 178,000 young individuals have been provided with government jobs. Currently, recruitment processes are underway for approximately 51,000 positions, with over 80,000 additional posts included in the recruitment calendar.

Moreover, preparations are being made to fill over 70,000 new positions. He also mentioned that around 450,000 jobs have been created in the private sector. Addressing the issue of question paper leaks, Sharma reported that following the formation of a Special Investigation Team (SIT), 569 individuals have been arrested in connection with these cases, and 410 examinations have been successfully conducted without any incidents of paper leaks.

Under the 'Rajasthan Startup' initiative, 4,623 startups have been registered so far, with 1,062 receiving financial assistance of ₹34 crores through the 'I-Start' fund. During the event, the Chief Minister unveiled a logo design competition for the 'Flight of Dreams' program and engaged with students, athletes, NCC cadets, and volunteers to gather suggestions related to education, competitive exams, and career opportunities.
