Significant Development Initiatives in Dholpur
On July 28, in Jaipur, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced that approximately ₹2000 crore has been invested in development projects in Dholpur district over the past two and a half years. He made this statement during an inauguration and foundation-laying ceremony held in the Phoolpur Gram Panchayat of the Rajakhera region.
Sharma emphasized the government's commitment to the district's progress, stating, “We listen to the public, ensuring that there is no shortage of work or budget.” According to an official statement, the Chief Minister inaugurated and laid the foundation for 17 development projects worth around ₹177 crore during the event.
He reiterated the state government's dedication to providing essential services such as water, electricity, roads, healthcare, and employment. Additionally, he mentioned a provision to offer an extra ₹3000 to farmers under the Prime Minister's Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme to enhance their economic empowerment.
Sharma also noted that farmers are benefiting from the crop insurance scheme and that electricity is being supplied to farmers during the day across 26 districts. Home Minister Jawahar Singh Bedham, present at the event, highlighted the government's efforts to empower and uplift the most marginalized individuals through various welfare schemes, aiming to fulfill the aspirations of women, youth, and all sections of society.
Bedham further stated that law and order in the state has also been strengthened.
