Rahul Gandhi Criticizes PM Modi for Failing Education System

In a recent statement, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of destroying the education system in India. He highlighted the government's inability to conduct major examinations like NEET and CUET properly, questioning Modi's claims of being a 'world guru'. Gandhi warned that the youth whose futures are at stake will hold the Prime Minister accountable. His remarks come in light of technical issues faced during the CUET-UG 2026 exam, raising concerns about the integrity of the examination process. This critique reflects broader frustrations with the current administration's handling of educational affairs.

Gandhi's Accusations Against Modi

On Saturday, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of completely ruining the country's education system. He pointed out that despite the government's claims of being a 'world guru', it has failed to conduct even a single examination properly. This statement followed the National Testing Agency's (NTA) announcement regarding delays in the CUET-UG 2026 exam due to technical issues at several centers.

Gandhi's Remarks on Examination Failures

In a post on X, Gandhi highlighted the failures of major exams like NEET, CBSE, SSC, and the recent CUET, stating that none of these assessments were conducted honestly for the one crore students involved. He criticized Modi for claiming to be a 'world guru' while being unable to manage a single examination, asserting that the Prime Minister has devastated the entire education system. He warned that the generation whose future is being compromised will hold Modi accountable.

Concerns Over CBSE's Performance

On Friday, Gandhi remarked that Modi's silence regarding the failures of CBSE and the lack of action against the education minister indicates that the Prime Minister is only concerned about the survival of his government, not the future of millions of students. He also shared a video of his previous interactions with students who expressed their concerns about the examination system following the NEET paper leak.
