Rahul Gandhi Criticizes Modi Government Over CBSE Exam Issues
Opposition Leader's Concerns
On Monday, Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition, expressed his discontent with the Modi administration, accusing it of targeting students and neglecting complaints regarding alleged errors in the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) exam evaluations. He highlighted an incident where a student seeking corrections to their answer sheet faced verbal abuse and was labeled as 'anti-national' on social media.
Gandhi pointed out that numerous students have raised concerns about flaws in the evaluation process, yet no appropriate measures have been taken to address these issues.
Serious Allegations Against the Government
In a post on 'X', Gandhi stated that the Modi-led government has turned another institution into a symbol of fraud. For the first time in decades, serious questions have been raised about the CBSE board exams. With 1.85 million students taking the exams, complaints about incorrect marking and investigation irregularities have gone unheard for over a week, while the education minister remains firmly in position.
He recounted the story of a 17-year-old whose answer sheet was incorrectly evaluated, who turned to social media in search of justice but instead received insults. The BJP's IT cell branded him as 'anti-national', a 'Soros agent', and part of the 'deep state'. Gandhi lamented that when a young person speaks out for their future, the BJP labels them as traitors.
Fear of Youth and Questions
Gandhi asserted that the truth is the Modi government fears the youth and 'Gen Z' because they are now asking questions. He claimed that this government seeks to defame, intimidate, and suppress those who inquire. He warned, 'Listen, Modi ji, it is these young people, this Gen Z, who will break your arrogance.'
