In the wake of the BJP's significant win in Bengal, Rahul Gandhi has condemned Congress leaders for celebrating the TMC's defeat. Rahul Gandhi's Strong Remarks on TMC's Loss

Following the significant victory of the BJP in Bengal, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi expressed his disapproval of party members and others who mocked the TMC and celebrated Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's defeat. He emphasized that the opposition's loss is merely a step in the BJP's campaign to undermine democracy in India. Gandhi pointed out that some within Congress and other parties are rejoicing over TMC's defeat, stating they need to grasp the gravity of the situation— the BJP's actions in Assam and Bengal represent a serious threat to Indian democracy. Gandhi reiterated the need for clarity among those celebrating TMC's loss in West Bengal. The BJP is set to form its government for the first time after winning 206 seats in the state assembly elections, marking a hat-trick of victories in Assam. He urged everyone to move beyond trivial politics, asserting that this situation is not about one party versus another, but rather about the future of India. Mamata Banerjee, the outgoing Chief Minister of West Bengal, claimed on Monday that the BJP had stolen 100 seats in the state. Rahul Gandhi supported her assertion, alleging that the BJP, with the assistance of the Election Commission, has manipulated the elections in Assam and West Bengal.
