Rahul Gandhi Accuses BJP of Electoral Fraud and Manipulation

In a recent statement, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has accused the BJP of engaging in vote theft and electoral manipulation, claiming that entire governments can be compromised through such actions. He highlighted that a significant number of BJP MPs may have won their seats through fraudulent means. Gandhi's remarks come in the wake of the Assam and West Bengal assembly election results, where he alleges that the BJP, with the help of the Election Commission, orchestrated electoral fraud. His comments have sparked discussions about the integrity of the electoral process in India.

Allegations of Vote Theft by Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has reiterated his claims regarding vote theft, asserting that not only are individual seats compromised, but entire governments can also be usurped through electoral fraud. Contrary to the Congress party's expectations, he labeled the Haryana government, which is anticipated to be re-elected by the BJP in 2024, as a regime of infiltrators, accusing the BJP of seizing power through manipulation.

In a post on X, Gandhi stated that votes are sometimes stolen to win seats and at other times to capture entire governments.

Claims of Manipulation in Lok Sabha

The Congress leader pointed out that among the 240 BJP MPs in the Lok Sabha, approximately one in six has won their seat through vote theft. He questioned whether these individuals should be referred to as 'infiltrators' in the BJP's terminology. Regarding Haryana, he remarked that the entire government there is composed of 'infiltrators.' He emphasized that organizations that manipulate voter lists and electoral processes are essentially 'remote-controlled.'

Concerns Over Fair Elections

Gandhi expressed that the real fear lies in the truth, suggesting that if fair elections were conducted, the BJP would struggle to secure even 140 seats. Following the results of the Assam and West Bengal assembly elections, he intensified his attacks on the BJP, alleging that the party, with the assistance of the Election Commission, orchestrated electoral theft in these states. The BJP achieved significant victories in both Assam and West Bengal.
