Raghav Chadha to Keynote at Asian Leadership Conference 2025 in Seoul
Raghav Chadha Invited as Keynote Speaker
Raghav Chadha, a Member of Parliament, has received an invitation to be a distinguished keynote speaker at the upcoming Asian Leadership Conference (ALC) 2025, which is set to occur on May 21-22, 2025, in Seoul, South Korea.
The ALC, co-hosted by Chosun Media and the Center for Asia Leadership, is often referred to as the 'Davos of the East.' It is recognized as Asia's leading platform for global dialogue, gathering over 320 influential leaders and more than 2,500 delegates from various sectors, including politics, business, academia, and civil society, to discuss critical challenges and opportunities facing Asia.
As a speaker, Chadha will join a prestigious roster of past speakers, which includes notable figures such as former U.S. Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, and former U.K. Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and David Cameron, among others.
This year, he will share the stage with prominent leaders like former U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, The Asia Foundation's President and CEO Laurel E. Miller, former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, and former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, to name a few.
The theme for ALC 2025 is 'The Rise of Nations: Pathways to Great Prosperity,' coinciding with Korea's 80th anniversary of liberation and the 75th anniversary of the Korean War. The conference will delve into strategies for building resilience amid various crises, including health, climate, and geopolitical conflicts. Chadha's discussions will focus on two key areas:
- The New Political Vanguard: Young Leaders Reshaping Governance in Asia
At just 33, Raghav Chadha made history as the youngest Rajya Sabha MP. His rapid ascent in politics, driven by merit and a commitment to policy excellence, positions him to discuss how young leaders can influence governance in Asia. - Crisis-Proofing Nations: Health, Climate, and Conflict in a Poly-crisis Era
Chadha's contributions to the Delhi Government, particularly through initiatives like Mohalla Clinics, have significantly improved healthcare access and resilience, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. His experience in addressing public health challenges makes him well-suited to speak on the theme of poly-crises.
Commenting on his invitation, Chadha expressed, 'It is an honor to represent India and its youth at a forum that gathers visionaries from around the world. Asia is on the brink of transformation, and I am eager to share India's insights on leadership, resilience, and inclusive prosperity.'
He added, 'I am thrilled to participate alongside esteemed global leaders like Rishi Sunak, Mike Pompeo, and Laura Lacey. This is a unique chance to showcase India's narrative of innovation, youth leadership, democratic resilience, and global collaboration on one of Asia's most respected platforms.'
Recently, Raghav Chadha was recognized as a Young Global Leader (YGL) by the World Economic Forum, a distinction awarded to promising leaders under 40 who are acknowledged for their efforts in creating a better future. His inclusion in the YGL community highlights his emerging role as a global advocate for democratic governance, youth leadership, and international cooperation.
