Rabri Devi Starts Moving Out of Official Residence

Former Chief Minister of Bihar, Rabri Devi, has commenced the process of vacating her government residence located at 10 Circular Road. The deadline for vacating the premises is set to conclude on Monday. In the meantime, CCTV cameras have already been removed from the property, and her personal belongings are being transported out.

Starting late Sunday evening, workers began relocating items from the residence to another location. A leader from the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), who wished to remain anonymous, mentioned that most of Rabri Devi's belongings are currently being moved to her family's private residence in Kautilya Nagar.

This development comes as the government residence has been allocated to Nand Kishore Ram, the state's Minister of Animal and Fisheries Resources. Rabri Devi has been residing in this house for nearly two decades. The Building Construction Department officially allocated the residence to Nand Kishore Ram on May 27, after which four notices were issued to Rabri Devi and her family to vacate the premises.

With the deadline for vacating approaching on Monday, the government residence is expected to be formally handed over to the new allottee. Rabri Devi has been assigned a new residence at House No. 39 on Harding Road. Additionally, the state government has reduced the security detail for RJD President and former Chief Minister Lalu Prasad, as well as for Rabri Devi, who is the Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar Legislative Council.
