The draft list will be published on August 13, with claims and objections accepted until September 12. The final voter list is expected to be released on October 12, marking a significant step in the electoral process in the state.
 

Completion of Voter List Digitization in Punjab

Chandigarh, August 2 - The digitization of all counting forms for the special intensive revision (SIR) of the voter list in Punjab has been successfully completed ahead of the August 3 deadline. This information was shared in an official statement on Sunday.


The Chief Electoral Officer of Punjab, Anindita Mitra, highlighted that this achievement reflects the dedication of the electoral machinery involved in this significant task.


She commended the efforts of district electoral officers, assistant electoral registration officers, supervisors, and booth-level officials across all assembly constituencies. The draft of the voter list in Punjab will be published on August 13. According to the statement, claims and objections can be submitted from August 13 to September 12, while the resolution of these claims and objections will take place from August 13 to October 8.


The final voter list for Punjab is set to be published on October 12.
