On August 2, in Ludhiana, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann inaugurated two new 'Schools of Eminence' in Kidwai Nagar and Miller Ganj, bringing the total number of such schools in the district to 16. The Chief Minister highlighted that these new facilities are equipped with modern classrooms, state-of-the-art laboratories, auditoriums, and other advanced amenities, which are part of the state government's initiative to strengthen public education and provide world-class learning environments for students.

Mann emphasized that continuous investment in education has transformed government schools into premier institutions. He noted that improved infrastructure, training for teachers abroad, and modern teaching methodologies have led to an increased interest among parents in enrolling their children in government schools.
