Ranchi: During a protest march aimed at addressing alleged recruitment exam irregularities in Jharkhand, an individual threw ink at Neha Bora, the president of the All India Students' Association (AISA). This incident occurred as protesters approached the Jharkhand Assembly on Friday, with the assailant labeling her as 'anti-national.'

The altercation took place near Birsa Chowk, where the march was organized by AISA alongside the All India Students' Federation (AISF).

In response to the attack, Bora stated, 'I will not be intimidated by such actions; I have faced pellet gun fire and baton charges during protests in Delhi.'

Shivani, another AISA leader, described the event, noting that the march was peaceful until the man unexpectedly emerged from the crowd to throw ink at Bora.

She further claimed that the assailant was affiliated with the BJP.

Authorities confirmed that the individual responsible for throwing the ink was apprehended by the police. When questioned by reporters, he expressed disdain for Bora, accusing her of supporting Umar Khalid and labeling her as anti-national.
