Political Landscape in Chirayinkeezhu
Chirayinkeezhu, part of the Attingal parliamentary constituency, has been under the control of the Left Democratic Front (LDF) in the last three assembly elections. In the upcoming elections, the United Democratic Front (UDF) candidate will be Ramya Haridas, a former Lok Sabha MP from Alathur (2019-2024). Haridas will face competition from CPI's Manoj B. Edamana and BJP's B.S. Anoop, who previously contested from Chirayinkeezhu on a UDF ticket in the 2021 assembly elections.
Allegations Against Modi and State Leadership
In her speech, Gandhi criticized both Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan for neglecting the needs of the public. Gandhi asserted that the Prime Minister has handed over the future of the nation to them, allowing them to dictate when and from whom India can purchase resources.
Personal Attacks and Allegations of Corruption
Gandhi launched a personal attack on the Prime Minister, labeling him a coward and asserting that he lacks the courage to stand up for India. She stated that the public is paying the price for his decisions daily, suggesting that his name appears in certain controversial files.
