Jaipur, Feb 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to arrive in Ajmer on Saturday, marking his inaugural trip to Rajasthan this year. During this visit, he will kick off a nationwide vaccination initiative aimed at administering the HPV vaccine to girls aged between 9 and 14 years. Furthermore, he will address a public gathering at Kayad Vishram Sthali, where he is expected to announce and dedicate development projects totaling ₹16,686 crore for the state.
The event will be attended by Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, Governor Haribhau Kisanrao Bagde, and BJP State President Madan Rathore.
All necessary administrative and security arrangements for the occasion have been finalized.
In a significant move to enhance employment opportunities, the Prime Minister will distribute appointment letters to 21,863 young individuals across various sectors.
These appointments will include 3,320 positions for Patwaris in the Revenue Department, 2,291 Contract Accounting Assistants, 2,950 Livestock Assistants, 3,822 Chief Health Officers (CHOs), and 7,357 roles in public healthcare, including nurses, lab technicians, and other administrative positions.
Additionally, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the groundwork for numerous projects focused on urban and rural development, road infrastructure, railways, irrigation, technology, and industrial advancement.
Out of the total ₹16,686 crore investment, 34 projects worth ₹8,554 crore are specifically associated with state initiatives.
Moreover, from the Kayad Rest House, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation for nine National Highway and energy projects valued at ₹8,132 crore.
Notable projects include the Bandikui–Jaipur four-lane Greenfield Expressway, which is estimated at ₹1,207 crore, along with the Delhi–Vadodara Greenfield Expressway and other significant highway and energy infrastructure developments.
This visit is anticipated to be a crucial developmental and political event for Rajasthan, emphasizing healthcare, job creation, and extensive infrastructure growth.
