Prime Minister Modi's Upcoming Gujarat Visit: Key Events Scheduled

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Gujarat from January 10 to 12, 2026, with a packed itinerary that includes rituals at the Somnath temple, participation in the Shaurya Yatra, and meetings with the German Chancellor. Overview of Prime Minister Modi's Gujarat Visit

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Gujarat from January 10 to 12, 2026. He will arrive in Somnath on the evening of January 10. According to an announcement from the Prime Minister's Office, he will chant the Omkar mantra around 8 PM, followed by a drone show at the Somnath temple.


On January 11, at approximately 9:45 AM, PM Modi will participate in the Shaurya Yatra, a formal procession honoring countless warriors who sacrificed their lives defending the Somnath temple.


Following this, around 10:15 AM, he will perform rituals and prayers at the Somnath temple. By 11 AM, he is expected to attend a public event celebrating the Somnath Swabhimaan Festival.


Later in the day, he will travel to Rajkot to take part in the Vibrant Gujarat regional conference for the Kutch and Saurashtra regions. At around 1:30 PM, he will inaugurate the trade fair and exhibition associated with the conference.


Around 2 PM, PM Modi will officially open the Vibrant Gujarat regional conference at Marwari University in Rajkot and address the attendees.


After his engagements in Rajkot, he will head to Ahmedabad. At approximately 5:15 PM, he will inaugurate the remaining section of the Ahmedabad Metro from Sector 10A to Mahatma Mandir at the Mahatma Mandir Metro Station.


On January 12, PM Modi will meet with the Federal Chancellor of Germany, His Excellency Friedrich Merz, in Ahmedabad. They will visit the Sabarmati Ashram around 9:30 AM, followed by their participation in the International Kite Festival held along the banks of the Sabarmati River at around 10 AM.


Subsequently, from 11:15 AM, bilateral meetings will take place at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, where the Prime Minister and the German Chancellor will review the progress of the India-Germany strategic partnership, which recently celebrated its 25th anniversary.
