A Historic Date in Indian Politics

May 26 holds a notable place in India's democratic history, marking the day in 2014 when Narendra Modi took his first oath as Prime Minister following a remarkable electoral victory. In 2019, he was sworn in for a second term on the same date, with the President's office announcing that Ram Nath Kovind would administer the oath on May 30. As Modi prepares for a potential third term in 2024, he is set to conduct a grand roadshow in Ahmedabad on this significant date.
