Prime Minister Modi Urges Nation to Strive for a Developed India on 79th Independence Day

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his warm wishes to the nation on the occasion of the 79th Independence Day, encouraging citizens to work harder towards building a developed India.
In a message shared on the social media platform 'X', he stated, “Heartfelt wishes to everyone on Independence Day. May this day inspire us to fulfill the dreams of our freedom fighters and to put in more effort towards creating a developed India. Jai Hind!”
In another post, he expressed, “I hope this occasion brings renewed energy and enthusiasm into the lives of all citizens, propelling the momentum towards a developed India. Jai Hind!”
During the anniversary of independence, the Prime Minister will lead the 79th Independence Day celebrations from the Red Fort. This marks his 12th consecutive year of hoisting the national flag and delivering the traditional address to the nation from this historic site.
As India celebrates its 79th Independence Day, Prime Minister Modi will address the nation from the ramparts of the Red Fort for the 12th time. His speech is expected to highlight government achievements, including Operation Sindoor, and discuss the country's economic growth, as India has now become the world's fourth-largest economy.
In light of the Prime Minister's Independence Day address, security measures in the national capital have been heightened. Approximately 11,000 security personnel have been deployed around the Red Fort and its vicinity. Traffic guidelines have also been issued, with special teams stationed at major locations including airports, railway stations, and interstate bus terminals.
