Prime Minister Modi to Engage with Assam Voters via NaMo App Ahead of Elections

Guwahati, March 28: As the Assembly elections in Assam approach, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to connect with BJP supporters and the general public on March 30 through the NaMo App.
State BJP spokesperson Pranjal Kalita emphasized, “With a strong focus on the upcoming elections, the BJP in Assam is ready to engage the public through the proactive outreach of Prime Minister Modi.”
Kalita added, “Following his extensive public engagements, the Prime Minister will interact directly with party workers and the citizens of Assam on March 30 at 1 pm.”
He urged all party members and Assam residents to download and register on the NaMo App to participate in this interactive initiative.
Campaign Trail and Upcoming Visits
Next week, the Prime Minister will embark on a campaign trail. Sources indicate that Modi will arrive in Assam on March 31 and will stay overnight in Dibrugarh. On April 1, he is scheduled to hold rallies in Dhemaji and Behali.
Additionally, Modi will return to Assam on April 6 for three campaign meetings in Hojai, Barpeta Road, and Moran, supporting the ruling NDA.
Other Key Political Figures in Assam
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will also be in Assam on March 31, addressing NDA campaign meetings in Tezpur and Dergaon. His first rally will take place at the Collegiate Field in Tezpur, followed by another at Balijan Bagisha Khelpathar in Dergaon LAC.
On the same day, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will conduct campaign meetings for BJP candidates in Jorhat and Dibrugarh LACs.
Amit Shah's Two-Day Campaign Visit
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to visit Assam for two days starting Saturday to campaign for the BJP-led NDA in the upcoming Assembly elections. He will participate in a road show in Guwahati and address meetings in Dhekiajuli and Tihu.
Shah is expected to arrive in Guwahati on March 29, where he will lead a road show from Arya Vidyapeeth playground to Nepali Mandir at 5 pm, with an anticipated turnout of at least one lakh attendees along the 1.4-km route.
Accompanied by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and State BJP president Dilip Saikia, Shah will meet with party leaders and workers at a private hotel to discuss strategies for the elections.
On March 29, Shah will travel to Dhekiajuli by helicopter to address a campaign meeting at the Dhekiajuli Tea Estate football field, where the BJP has nominated incumbent MLA Ashok Singhal.
Following this, he will head to Tihu for a meeting at Chamata HS School playground, where State Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary is the BJP candidate in the newly formed Tihu LAC.
After concluding his engagements, Shah will return to Guwahati before departing for New Delhi.
