Prime Minister Modi to Celebrate Veer Bal Day with National Program

On December 26, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lead a national celebration for Veer Bal Day at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. This event aims to honor the bravery and sacrifices of the Sahibzadas, with various activities planned across schools and online platforms. The Prime Minister will address attendees, highlighting the significance of remembering young heroes in India's history. The event will also feature winners of the Prime Minister's National Child Award, making it a significant occasion for education and remembrance.
 

Prime Minister Modi to Attend National Event for Veer Bal Day

On December 26, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in a national event commemorating 'Veer Bal Day' at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, scheduled for around 12:15 PM. According to a press release from the Prime Minister's Office, he will also address the gathering during this occasion. The Indian government is organizing various participatory events across the country to educate citizens about the extraordinary courage and supreme sacrifice of the Sahibzadas, while honoring the indomitable spirit, sacrifice, and valor of young heroes in India's history. Activities will include storytelling sessions, poetry readings, poster-making, and essay writing competitions.




These events will take place in schools, childcare institutions, anganwadi centers, and other educational establishments, as well as through online activities on the MyGov and MyBharat portals.




During the celebration of Guru Gobind Singh Ji's Prakash Purab on January 9, 2022, the Prime Minister announced that December 26 would be observed as 'Veer Bal Day' to honor the martyrdom of Sahibzada Baba Zorawar Singh Ji and Baba Fateh Singh Ji, whose unique sacrifices continue to inspire generations. The event will also see the presence of winners of the Prime Minister's National Child Award.
