A Year After the Pahalgam Attack

New Delhi: On the anniversary of the tragic Pahalgam terror attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reaffirmed India's unwavering stance against terrorism, emphasizing that the nation will not yield to any form of terror.

The attack, executed by the Pakistan-based group Lashkar-e-Taiba, occurred in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, resulting in the deaths of 26 innocent individuals, primarily tourists from various parts of India.

In a heartfelt message shared on 'X', Modi expressed, "We remember the innocent lives lost in the horrific Pahalgam terror attack last year. They will always be in our hearts."

He extended his condolences to the families affected by this tragedy, stating, "As a united nation, we share in this sorrow and determination. India will never succumb to terrorism, and the malicious intentions of terrorists will ultimately fail."

Following the Pahalgam incident, India launched a military response known as Operation Sindoor, targeting military and terrorist infrastructure in both Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
