Prime Minister Modi Honors Visionary Leader Mannathu Padmanabhan on His Birth Anniversary

Prime Minister Narendra Modi honored Mannathu Padmanabhan, the founder of the Nair Service Society, on his birth anniversary. Modi praised Padmanabhan as a visionary who dedicated his life to social service and believed in progress through dignity and equality. He highlighted Padmanabhan's inspiring contributions to health, education, and women's empowerment, emphasizing the importance of his ideals in guiding society towards justice and compassion. Born in 1878, Padmanabhan started as a school teacher and later became a lawyer, founding the Nair Service Society in 1914 to uplift the Nair community.
 

Tribute to a Visionary Leader

On Friday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Mannathu Padmanabhan, the founder of the 'Nair Service Society', on the occasion of his birth anniversary. He described Padmanabhan as a visionary who believed that true progress lies in dignity, equality, and social reform.


In a post shared on the social media platform 'X', Modi stated, 'On the birth anniversary of Mannathu Padmanabhan, we respectfully remember a great personality who dedicated his life to social service.'


The Prime Minister emphasized, 'He was a visionary who believed that genuine progress is rooted in dignity, equality, and social reform. His contributions in areas such as health, education, and women's empowerment are truly inspiring.'


Modi further remarked, 'His ideals continuously guide us towards building a just, compassionate, and harmonious society.' Mannathu Padmanabhan was born in 1878 and began his career as a school teacher before transitioning into law. Recognizing the need for upliftment and reform within the Nair community, he established the 'Nair Service Society' in 1914.
