Prime Minister Modi Highlights India's Growth Amid Global Challenges

In a recent meeting of the NITI Aayog, Prime Minister Narendra Modi underscored India's unwavering growth amidst global uncertainties. He highlighted the significance of free trade agreements for MSMEs and emphasized the need for quality education and skill development for the youth. Modi also pointed out the crucial role of women in India's development and called for cooperative federalism among states to achieve a shared vision of a developed India. New Delhi, Jun 11: During the 11th meeting of the Governing Council of NITI Aayog, Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed that India is steadfastly advancing on its growth path despite the prevailing global uncertainties.


According to a social media update from NITI Aayog, Modi stated, "The world is currently experiencing significant uncertainty and instability, yet India is confidently progressing on its growth trajectory."


The Prime Minister highlighted that India has entered into several free trade agreements with various nations, aimed at fostering new avenues for growth and enhancing exports.


He noted, "These agreements offer substantial opportunities for our MSMEs, allowing them to gear up for international markets by meeting global standards and boosting their competitiveness."


Modi emphasized the importance of India's demographic dividend, describing it as a unique opportunity that must not be overlooked.


He stressed that establishing an environment conducive to quality education, skill development, and job creation for the youth should be a top priority.


"Empowered youth will be the key drivers of our journey towards a developed India," the Prime Minister remarked.


Modi also pointed out that cooperation and dialogue should be the foundation of interactions among states.


He mentioned that NITI Aayog can serve as a vital platform for collaboration, facilitating the exchange of ideas and collective efforts towards the vision of a developed India.


Furthermore, he stated that women-led development is essential to the vision of a developed India.


"From agriculture and startups to science and innovation, women are making significant contributions across various sectors," he added, urging states to focus on education, skill development, safety, and empowerment of women to unlock their full potential and propel India's growth.


Modi concluded by saying, "With the spirit of cooperative federalism guiding us, we are united in our efforts to expedite India's development journey. The collaborative endeavors of both the Centre and the States will be crucial in achieving our common vision of a developed India."
