On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi utilized video conferencing to distribute more than 51,000 appointment letters during the 19th Job Fair. This event was simultaneously held across 47 locations nationwide, forming part of the government's ongoing recruitment drive aimed at creating job opportunities for the youth.
New Recruits Join Key Government Departments
The selected candidates have been appointed to various ministries and departments of the central government, including the Ministry of Railways, the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, the Ministry of Higher Education, and the Ministry of Financial Services.
Diverse Selection of Candidates
Officials indicated that the recruits were chosen from different regions across the country and will soon commence their duties in various government offices and organizations. During the event, Prime Minister Modi addressed the newly appointed candidates, emphasizing the government's commitment to generating employment and empowering the youth.
Commitment to Youth Empowerment
Prior to the event, the Prime Minister expressed the government's dedication to strengthening the future of the youth and creating more opportunities through regular recruitment initiatives. He stated on social media, "Our commitment to the bright future and empowerment of our young compatriots is unwavering. In this direction, I will participate in another job fair via video conferencing tomorrow at 11 AM, where I will have the honor of handing over appointment letters to youth for various government departments."
Significant Number of Appointment Letters Distributed
According to government reports, since the launch of this initiative, approximately 1.2 million appointment letters have been distributed through 18 job fairs held across India. The job fair program was initiated to expedite the recruitment process in government departments and provide employment opportunities to youth nationwide.
