Prime Minister Modi Congratulates Himanta Biswa Sarma on His Oath as Assam Chief Minister

On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his congratulations to Himanta Biswa Sarma for taking the oath as the Chief Minister of Assam, commending his leadership and administrative skills. In a post on social media, the Prime Minister remarked that it was a proud day for Assam, as the NDA government assumed office for the third consecutive time. He expressed heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Sarma, highlighting his reputation as an exceptional administrator and his significant contributions to the state. Modi also wished him well for the upcoming term.


Additionally, the Prime Minister congratulated newly appointed ministers Rameshwar Teli, Atul Bora, Charan Boro, and Ajanta Niyog, expressing confidence that they would contribute to strengthening Assam's development trajectory.
