Celebrating Faith and Tradition
On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his best wishes to all citizens on the occasion of the second anniversary of Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha. He emphasized that this anniversary represents a divine celebration of our faith and traditions. In a post on social media, PM Modi remarked that today marks the celebration of the second anniversary of Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha on the sacred land of Ayodhya. This occasion is a divine festival of our beliefs and traditions. On this holy and auspicious day, I offer millions of salutations and respects at the feet of Lord Shri Ram on behalf of all devotees from India and abroad! My heartfelt wishes to all citizens of the country.
Modi further stated that, with the immense grace and blessings of Lord Shri Ram, the long-standing commitment of countless devotees has been fulfilled. Today, Ram Lalla is once again residing in his magnificent abode, and this year, the religious flag of Ayodhya witnesses the Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla on the twelfth day. It was my privilege to participate in the sacred installation of this flag last month.
The Prime Minister expressed his hope that the inspiration from Ram Lalla, a symbol of virtue, deepens the spirit of service, dedication, and compassion in every citizen's heart, laying a strong foundation for a prosperous and self-reliant India. Meanwhile, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed rituals at the Ram Janmabhoomi temple in Ayodhya to mark the Pran Pratishtha anniversary.
Rajnath Singh and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also hoisted the flag at the Annapurna temple and offered prayers at the Hanumangarhi temple. The unveiling of the Ram Lalla idol is scheduled for January 22, 2024, during the 'Pran Pratishtha Ceremony,' which will be presided over by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Various rituals, including the element pot, element homa, and other sacred ceremonies, were conducted as part of the Yajna celebrations at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi temple on the second day of the Pratishtha Dwadashi festival.
