PM Modi Joins Christmas Prayer Service

On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in a Christmas morning prayer service at the Cathedral Church of the Redemption in Delhi, alongside numerous Christian followers from the region. The service included prayers, carols, hymns, and a special prayer for the Prime Minister led by Bishop Right Rev. Paul Swarup. Over the years, PM Modi has consistently engaged in events associated with the Christian community. For instance, during Easter 2023, he attended a celebration at the Sacred Heart Cathedral in Delhi. Additionally, he hosted an event at his residence on 7 Lok Kalyan Marg during Christmas 2023.


Continued Engagement with the Christian Community

In 2024, he attended a dinner at the residence of Minister George Kurian and participated in an event organized by the CBCI, showcasing his ongoing involvement with the Christian community. Earlier, PM Modi extended heartfelt Christmas wishes to the public, expressing hopes for peace, compassion, and hope. In a post on X, he stated, "Wishing everyone a joyful Christmas filled with peace, compassion, and hope. May the teachings of Jesus Christ strengthen harmony in our society."
