During a meeting with journalist Alok Mehta, who presented his new book, Modi discussed the future development vision for India and the significance of public expectations from the government. Promoting Reading and Discipline Among Youth

On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized the importance of promoting books and libraries, urging that children should be encouraged to develop a reading habit. He also highlighted the need to connect students with training activities like the NCC, which can foster discipline, civic awareness, and a sense of nationalism among them.


According to a statement released, senior journalist and author Alok Mehta presented a copy of his new book, 'Revolutionary Raj: 25 Years of Narendra Modi,' to the Prime Minister during this discussion.


In a post on 'X', Prime Minister Modi expressed his pleasure in meeting Alok Mehta and receiving a copy of his book. The statement further noted that during their meeting, they discussed India's developmental vision for the future, the significance of grassroots experiences in governance, and the expectations of the public from the government.
