Meeting to Discuss Shri Manimahesh Yatra 2026

On Tuesday, a significant meeting took place at the Mini Secretariat in Bharmaur, led by Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Rajneesh Mahajan. The purpose was to assess the preparations for the upcoming Shri Manimahesh Yatra 2026. The discussions primarily revolved around managing temporary stalls along the sacred route and implementing stringent cleanliness protocols.

Among the resolutions made was a total prohibition on the sale of ₹5 snacks, chips, and ₹10 cold beverages along the Manimahesh trail. Furthermore, the sale and use of polythene bags, khaini, gutkha, and alcoholic beverages will be strictly forbidden.

DFO Rajneesh Mahajan urged shopkeepers, langar committees, and pilgrims to fully cooperate in upholding the sanctity and cleanliness of the revered Manimahesh shrine. He highlighted that maintaining a pollution-free environment is a shared responsibility, ensuring that future generations can enjoy the natural and spiritual beauty of this sacred location.

The meeting saw participation from officials and staff of the Forest Department in Bharmaur, traders from Hadsar, Mahinder Sharma from the Manimahesh Trust, and representatives from the Chaurasi Vyapar Mandal Bharmaur, including President Mahinder Patyal, Treasurer Kalu Sharma, and Press Secretary Pyar Sharma.
