Review Meeting for Manimahesh Yatra Arrangements
A meeting was held to assess the preparations for the upcoming Manimahesh Yatra, focusing on ensuring the safety and comfort of the pilgrims. This session was led by Additional District Magistrate (ADM) Bharmaur, Vikas Sharma, who urged officials to enhance facilities along the pilgrimage route and improve safety and sanitation protocols.
ADM Sharma called for the establishment of a special team tasked with investigating the potential for an alternative route from Hadsar to Yamkund. This team will evaluate the feasibility of the new path to provide greater convenience and safety for future pilgrims.
He also instructed officials to set up wooden railings at critical points along the Hadsar–Manimahesh trekking route to facilitate safe passage for devotees. The necessary safety measures should be prioritized and completed promptly.
Furthermore, ADM Sharma highlighted the need to enhance sanitation facilities by increasing the number of toilets and constructing additional pits along the pilgrimage route. He encouraged various departments to collaborate effectively to maintain cleanliness and provide essential services for the pilgrims.
The meeting concluded with a strong emphasis on collective efforts to ensure a smooth, safe, and well-organized pilgrimage experience for all attendees.
