Uttar Pradesh Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar has made bold claims about significant political shifts within the Samajwadi Party, suggesting an impending internal split. Rajbhar accused party leaders of self-serving motives and raised concerns over a letter from Ram Gopal Yadav to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, which he believes poses serious political questions. Political Shifts in the Samajwadi Party

On Wednesday, Om Prakash Rajbhar, a minister from Uttar Pradesh, asserted that significant political changes are unfolding within the Samajwadi Party, suggesting that the party is heading towards an internal split. He emphasized that the political landscape in Uttar Pradesh has become a focal point ahead of the 2027 assembly elections.

Speaking to a news outlet, Rajbhar accused individuals of joining political parties for personal gain. He also made remarks regarding alleged connections among Samajwadi Party leaders.

Rajbhar stated, "People are only bought when they are willing to sell themselves. Don't just focus on Maharashtra; it's now Uttar Pradesh's turn." He referenced a letter purportedly written by Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, claiming it raises serious political questions that require clarification.

He questioned, "Did you not see that Ram Gopal Ji handed a letter to Amit Shah Ji, suggesting names to be summoned and taken along, while asking for their safety? Ram Gopal Ji should clarify what he wrote in that letter."

Rajbhar linked this issue to previous corruption allegations against Samajwadi Party leaders, stating that the CBI has mentioned Akhilesh's name in a mining-related case. He asked, "Has anyone gone to jail in the Gomti Riverfront case?" In a prior post, he indicated that a significant rift is imminent within the Samajwadi Party. He reiterated that Ram Gopal Yadav has submitted a letter to Union Home Minister Amit Shah, asserting that everyone in Uttar Pradesh knows who is behind the mining and Gomti Riverfront scams. As the pressure mounts, the SP is becoming increasingly anxious. Forget Maharashtra and Bengal— the entire SP seems poised to join the BJP.
