Rahul Gandhi launched a fierce attack, questioning the Prime Minister's foreign policy and accusing him of putting on a show for the cameras. In response, the BJP has countered these claims. BJP leader Shehzad Poonawala stated that the Congress party has completely aligned itself with Pakistan, suggesting they are echoing the language of Pakistan's DG-ISPR. The BJP criticized Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha, labeling him as Pakistan's poster boy, asserting that Prime Minister Modi is not sending love letters to Pakistan, unlike what Congress has done for years. This statement came after Gandhi accused Modi on social media of compromising India's reputation and questioned why he agreed to halt military hostilities against Pakistan, sacrificing national interests.

In response to Gandhi's remarks, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi commented that it seems Gandhi finally watched PM Modi's address, even if it took him ten days to do so. Joshi remarked on social media, "The Modi government is not sending love letters, as your party has been doing for years." He emphasized that they have provided the strongest response to date.

Commenting on Gandhi's statements, BJP national spokesperson Pradeep Bhandari posted on social media, "This is the talk of someone who is Pakistan's poster boy!" He further alleged that Congress has become nothing more than a factory for pro-Pakistan fake news. Bhandari questioned Congress's decision to halt Operation Sindoor while the armed forces were decisively acting against terrorist camps in Pakistan.
