Political Speculations Rise in Maharashtra Ahead of Monsoon Session
Political Maneuvering Intensifies in Maharashtra
Political speculations are escalating in Maharashtra as reports suggest that seven Lok Sabha MPs from the Shiv Sena (UBT), led by Uddhav Thackeray, may join the faction of Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde before the upcoming monsoon session of Parliament. Adding fuel to these rumors, former MP Kripal Tumane, a leader within the Shiv Sena, indicated that the inclusion of these MPs into Shinde's camp is imminent. He also mentioned that a significant political operation, dubbed "Operation Tiger," is set to commence soon in Maharashtra's political landscape.
Operation Tiger Set to Launch
Tumane stated that preparations for this political maneuver are complete. He assured that the public will soon witness the unfolding of 'Operation Tiger.' Just as thorough examinations precede a medical operation, all necessary checks for 'Operation Tiger' have been finalized, and it is expected to commence shortly, with Eknath Shinde acting as the chief orchestrator. Tumane further claimed that during a meeting called by Uddhav Thackeray on Sunday, five MPs were absent, while two others present are reportedly in contact with Shinde.
Timeline for MPs Joining Another Party
According to Tumane, discussions with the seven MPs have already taken place, and it is anticipated that they will formally join Shinde's faction in Delhi before the monsoon session begins. He asserted that these MPs are in touch with Uddhav Thackeray's party and that all negotiations have been concluded. The MPs are eager for development in their constituencies, and Shinde's party is perceived as being on a path of progress. Tumane alleged that many legislators and MPs are influenced by the developmental activities occurring in the constituencies represented by Shinde's faction. "With rapid development in the constituencies of Shiv Sena legislators, both the seven MPs and 16 other legislators have expressed their desire to join Shinde's group," he noted. It is worth mentioning that Kripal Tumane has won consecutive Lok Sabha elections from Ramtek in 2014 and 2019.
