Political Shift in Uttar Pradesh: Key Leader Joins VIP Party
Significant Political Change in Uttar Pradesh
A notable shift has occurred in the political landscape of Uttar Pradesh as Prem Chandra Kashyap, the state president of the Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) and a close associate of Om Prakash Rajbhar, has decided to leave the party and join the VIP Party. This move comes at a crucial time when all political factions are gearing up for the upcoming assembly elections in 2027 following the Lok Sabha elections.
Kashyap's Transition to VIP Party
Kashyap has been a long-time member of the SBSP and his transition to the VIP Party is being viewed as a significant development in political circles. He joined the party led by Mukesh Sahni, a former minister in the Bihar government. On the same occasion, former minister Achhelal Nishad also took membership in the VIP Party.
VIP Party's Strategy in Uttar Pradesh
The VIP Party, under Mukesh Sahni's leadership, is actively working to expand its influence in Uttar Pradesh. This strategy is particularly focused on securing the support of backward and extremely backward communities, including Nishad, Kashyap, Mallah, and Sahni groups.
Welcoming New Members
In a Facebook post, Mukesh Sahni shared details from a press conference held at the Chinmaya Resort in Lucknow, where Prem Chandra Kashyap and Achhelal Nishad, along with other esteemed colleagues, joined the VIP Party. He emphasized that discussions on the party's policies and ideologies took place, and all new members were warmly welcomed, which he believes will strengthen the party and amplify their voice for societal welfare.
Impact on Om Prakash Rajbhar
Kashyap's departure from the SBSP is seen as a setback for Om Prakash Rajbhar, who has been leading the party at the state level. Rajbhar is recognized as a significant and influential figure in Uttar Pradesh politics, being the founder and national president of the SBSP, with a strong following among backward classes and the Rajbhar community. Throughout his political career, he has formed alliances with various parties and is currently aligned with the Bharatiya Janata Party, serving as a minister in Yogi Adityanath's government.
