The opposition faces criticism for allegedly taking advantage of student demonstrations related to paper leak incidents, prioritizing political agendas over collaboration with the government to protect examination integrity.

Historical data indicates that under Congress governance in Rajasthan, there were 17 recorded paper leaks, while opposition-led administrations have seen over 100 such cases without any significant response or acknowledgment.

In stark contrast, the current Modi administration acted promptly by arresting 13 individuals implicated in the NEET paper leak scandal, ensuring a timely and transparent re-examination process, and proposing the creation of fast-track courts. Prime Minister Modi has committed to implementing stringent measures against future offenders involved in similar incidents.

During a statement in Delhi, BJP MP Anurag Thakur commented: “On one side, there is an opposition that seeks to gain politically from the youth's struggles, while on the other, there are protesters demanding greater transparency in the examination process, a halt to future paper leaks, and decisive action against the current situation. Regarding the NEET paper leak, the 13 accused have been apprehended and are now in custody. Prime Minister Modi has also discussed establishing a fast-track court to ensure they receive the most severe penalties promptly.”
