Authorities at the Fatehpur Police Station have filed FIR No. 48/26 under Section 21 of the NDPS Act following a successful operation that led to the seizure of illegal drugs.

While conducting a routine check near Upper Barot, adjacent to a roadside eatery, officers apprehended a suspicious individual. Upon inspection, they discovered 3.26 grams of chitta (heroin) in his possession.

The suspect has been identified as Sahil alias Gajjo, 28, from Ward No. 4, Barot, Tehsil Fatehpur, District Kangra (Himachal Pradesh). He has been issued a notice under Section 35(3) BNSS in accordance with legal protocols.

The confiscated drugs have been secured, and the investigation is ongoing.

The Nurpur Police have reiterated their dedication to fighting drug trafficking and encourage the community to report any information regarding narcotics to law enforcement.
