Incident of Animal Abuse Reported

In the Saini police jurisdiction of Kaushambi district, authorities have registered a case against an individual accused of sexually assaulting a six-month-old female buffalo. This information was confirmed by the police on Sunday.


According to Awadhesh Kumar Vishwakarma, the Circle Officer of Sirathu, a complaint was lodged by Urmila Devi, a resident of Keshariya village in the Saini area. Urmila reported that the incident occurred early Sunday morning at around 3 AM.


The Circle Officer stated that based on the victim's complaint, a case has been filed under Section 11 of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, 1960 at the Saini police station. Efforts are currently underway to apprehend the accused, identified as Parasnath.
