PM Modi's Inspiring Messages and BJP's Historic Win in Bengal

In a powerful address at the UN, PM Modi inspired citizens to move forward fearlessly, a message echoed during the recent elections in West Bengal. With a historic victory, the BJP is set to take office on May 9, coinciding with Tagore's birth anniversary. Dilip Ghosh celebrated his significant win in Kharagpur, promising rapid development and expressing gratitude to his supporters. This article delves into the implications of these events and the BJP's future in the region.

A Call for Fearless Progress

During his address to the United Nations General Assembly in September 2021, Prime Minister Narendra Modi encouraged everyone to advance fearlessly on their path of good deeds, assuring that all weaknesses and fears would dissipate. He began his speech referencing the philosophy of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya and concluded with a poem by Rabindranath Tagore, emphasizing the relevance of Chanakya's teachings.

Fast forward to March 2026, as the political atmosphere in West Bengal heats up ahead of elections. At the Brigade Parade Ground in Kolkata, PM Modi concluded his speech by reciting Tagore's poem, urging the public to vote fearlessly for change this time.

Historic Victory and Upcoming Oath Ceremony

In politics, signals hold significant importance. Following the BJP's historic victory in Bengal, the time has come for the new government to take the oath of office. The BJP has chosen a particularly meaningful date for this event: the new government will be sworn in on May 9, coinciding with Tagore's birth anniversary.

Dilip Ghosh Celebrates Victory in Kharagpur

BJP leader Dilip Ghosh achieved a decisive victory in Kharagpur, winning by over 30,000 votes—significantly more than his previous win by around 6,000 votes in 2016. This substantial margin sparked celebrations among party workers. In a dramatic display, Ghosh climbed onto a JCB machine to thank his supporters, a sight often seen in Uttar Pradesh.

From the early trends of vote counting, the BJP maintained a clear lead in the region, and Ghosh remained confident throughout the day as he toured the area. After the results were announced, he addressed his supporters near the counting center at the Kendriya Vidyalaya, promising rapid development. He stated, 'This time, the margin of victory is much greater than in 2016. We will work even harder for the people.'
