PM Modi to Launch Major Development Projects in Rajasthan

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit Ajmer, Rajasthan, where he will inaugurate and lay the foundation for development projects exceeding ₹16,680 crores. The initiatives include urban development, drinking water supply, and a nationwide HPV vaccination campaign aimed at preventing cervical cancer. Modi will also enhance road connectivity with new national highway projects and strengthen renewable energy infrastructure. Additionally, he will distribute over 21,800 appointment letters to newly recruited youth, emphasizing his commitment to job creation and empowerment.
 

Prime Minister's Visit to Ajmer

On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to inaugurate and lay the foundation for various development projects worth over ₹16,680 crores during his visit to Ajmer, Rajasthan. This information was shared in an official statement.


During his visit, Modi will also address a public gathering.


According to the announcement, the Prime Minister will be in Ajmer on February 28, where he is expected to commence several development initiatives around 11:30 AM.


Inauguration of Development Initiatives

The projects encompass urban development, drinking water supply, road construction, irrigation, and energy sectors.


Additionally, he will launch a nationwide campaign for the vaccination of girls aged 14 against Human Papillomavirus (HPV).


This initiative aims to prevent cervical cancer, a leading cause of cancer among women, and is a significant step towards ensuring the long-term health of girls and women across the nation.


National Highway Projects to be Launched

To enhance road connectivity, the Prime Minister will inaugurate several national highway projects, including a four-lane greenfield expressway from Bandikui to Jaipur.


He will also lay the foundation for a four-lane elevated road in Jodhpur and the Malbhamori-Mangarol-Baran state highway in Baran district.


In line with the government's commitment to providing safe and clean drinking water for all, he will lay the foundation for four packages of the Nonera major drinking water project and five packages of the Parwan Akawad major drinking water project.


Strengthening Renewable Energy Infrastructure

To bolster renewable energy infrastructure in Rajasthan and ensure seamless transmission from production centers, the Prime Minister will inaugurate transmission systems for the state's renewable energy zones (REZ).


Furthermore, he will distribute over 21,800 appointment letters to newly recruited youth in various government departments and organizations, reinforcing his commitment to job creation and youth empowerment.
