PM Modi Launches Major Development Projects in Telangana Worth ₹9,400 Crores

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has launched significant development initiatives in Telangana, amounting to ₹9,400 crores. During a virtual event at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, he inaugurated key projects including the expansion of National Highway-167 and the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park. This textile park is notable for being India's first fully operational PM Mitra Park. The event was attended by various dignitaries, marking a pivotal moment for the state's infrastructure and economic growth.
 

Inauguration of Development Initiatives in Telangana

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually laid the foundation stone and inaugurated development projects in Telangana valued at approximately ₹9,400 crores during an event at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC).


The ceremony was attended by notable figures including Telangana Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy, and various other leaders.


Among the projects inaugurated, Modi highlighted the expansion of National Highway-167 from Gudebellur to Mahbubnagar, which will enhance the Hyderabad-Panjim economic corridor.


Key Projects Unveiled

The Prime Minister also inaugurated several segments of the Kazipet-Vijayawada multi-tracking railway project, a greenfield POL (Petroleum, Oil, and Lubricants) terminal in Hyderabad, the Kazipet rail underpass, and the PM Mitra Park in Warangal, which is the Kakatiya Mega Textile Park.


This textile park, developed at an estimated cost of ₹1,700 crores, is recognized as India's first fully operational PM Mitra Park.
