New Delhi/Bhubaneswar: On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed his warm wishes to the people of Odisha in celebration of 'Maha Bishuba Pana Sankranti'.


He emphasized that this significant occasion embodies the principles of devotion, harmony, and the renewal of seasons, showcasing Odisha's rich cultural heritage.


"I wish for a year brimming with endless opportunities and achievements. May this auspicious day usher in peace, joy, and prosperity for everyone. Let this festival enhance our sense of unity and strengthen the ties that connect our community," he expressed.


Additionally, PM Modi extended his greetings for Baisakhi and Puthandu, hoping that these celebrations foster societal togetherness and bring about peace, happiness, and prosperity.


In messages delivered in English, Gurmukhi, and Tamil, he expressed his hopes that these festivals would infuse joy, prosperity, and renewed energy into people's lives.


Regarding Baisakhi, the Prime Minister noted that this lively festival symbolizes gratitude, renewal, and hope, honoring the diligent efforts of farmers who sustain the nation.


He highlighted the festival's spiritual importance, marking the establishment of the Khalsa Panth by Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji, stating that the teachings of the revered Sikh gurus continue to motivate collective efforts towards building a better society.

While sending warm wishes for Puthandu to the people of Tamil Nadu, Modi prayed for a year filled with happiness, success, and good health.
