Both leaders acknowledged the importance of ensuring freedom of navigation and maintaining open and secure shipping routes. Modi also expressed gratitude for the Crown Prince's continued support for the welfare of the Indian community in Saudi Arabia.

This conversation is part of a series of phone calls Modi has had with various world leaders over the past month, following the outbreak of conflict between Iran and the United States on February 28.
